Do WE not like this?
WE regularly want to talk about THEIR team even when the team is not playing.
For e.g. during the Bayern v Arse match tonight, I’m sure if Bayern are beating the Arse silly, my friend who is a Chelsea WE will call me to say Bayern wouldn’t beat US like that. If you go to the game thread here other WE would rather try to link THEIR team to the discussion. Instead of concentrating on the game at hand, Manure WE will give us idiocies like “WE should sign Kroos”.
If Nigeria are playing and Mikelele goes down from a tackle, a Chelsea WE would not be concerned about how this affects Nigeria’s prospects in the match, but what it means for the next Chelsea match.
WE just can’t seem to stick to the script. If YOUR team is not playing, watch the game in progress and appreciate it for what it’s worth, without trying to sneakily divert the discussion to YOUR team. WE can talk about YOUR team when they are playing.
