CAF President Dr Motsepe announces African Super League
An African Super League featuring the continent's leading clubs and with $100 million in prize money will start in 2023, the Confederation of African Football announced late on Sunday.
No details were revealed regarding the number of participants in the planned tournament, which is set to run alongside the continent's flagship Champions League.

The initial gist is that interested clubs will have to raise twenty million dollar, but i think it has been reduced.
Rivers United and Enyimba are interested.
It will be dominated by teams from Egypt, Tunisia, Morroco and South Africa.

What is the difference between this and the champjons league ?
Seems like an unnecessary waste of time.
Instead CAF should be creating their own nations league for national teams.
