Trouble may be brewing for Chairman Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi as a report about him is to be submitted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, today.
Ogunjobi, who became a member of the executive board member of the present board of the NFF, after serving as the Secretary-General of the federation, was alleged to have no locus standi to serve the NFF having been dismissed as the chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club by the Oyo State government in 1998 after a probe panel set up by the government for alleged mismanagement of funds indicted him. He was then a Deputy Director in the State public service.

Veteran journalist and Director, Nigeria Sports Development Corporation, Abuja, Jide Fashikun, told P.M.Sports that he will formally submit his report and findings to EFCC today, saying Ogunjobi is not eligible to serve either as the Secretary-General or a board member of the federation, having been dismissed from service.

He said Ogunjobi should be made to return all the salaries and entitlements he collected during the period.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics
