Any footballer that’s had a shocker will want to forget that it ever happened but sometimes it’s unavoidable…

However, that hasn’t stopped Eden Hazard reportedly asking Google to wipe all references of his performance against Argentina at this summer’s World Cup under the European Union’s recent ‘right to be forgotten’ ruling.

The Belgium international failed to live up to his high billing during the finals in Brazil, and his outing against eventual runners-up Argentina will live long in the memory – for the wrong reasons.

But according to Lavenir, a newspaper in Hazard’s homeland, the Chelsea winger is attempting to remove any negative traces of his quarter final outing, including any rating of him from that game which saw him scored lower than four out of 10, plus any references to him as one of the tournament’s flops.

Unfortunately for Eden, there are some things that can’t be unseen away from the internet!
