Perhaps they also blame Woodward already? I mean United fans know Mourinho needs to just leave or be sacked so we can get on with it. And Woodward needs to be reassigned. He's great when it comes to the commercialism/marketing of United but United NEEDS a real, legitimate Director of Football.

Hopefully next summer when they sign Allegri (as I believe they will) they will also reassign Woodward.

United supporters, any better options than this man right now to man the helm and steady the ship until the end of the season?
I'm sure Giggs won't agree to be caretaker again. Roy Keane? Or is it just Big Sam?

I tire for that c*ntish so called manager.

Look at the midfield he chose to put out.

The ba$tard is just sleepwalking and trying to get his payoff.

I forgot someone who has PL experience and has actually won things is available at the moment

Image

I would take Ranieri for the rest of the season as caretaker manager

Marko didn't lie. Mourinho slyly put some blame on Martial....AND "everyone" asking him to play Martial. Because that's what managers who DGAF and are waiting to get sacked so they can get paid do.
They throw out a RIDICULOUS midfield lineup
They play what is supposedly a back three while leaving their best centerback on the bench and playing a midfielder at centerback.

That's what someone like Mourinho does. He is a gutless excuse of a manager. He is smart and sly that's for sure but he has lost the majority of his squad. I doubted that early in the season but at this point I don't see how that can be in doubt.

Woodward tried to continue doing things the way it was working under Ferguson, to give the manager almost full choice of signings, he seems to have somewhat stopped this last transfer window, i think he has realised this approach is not working and is too haphazard in terms of the type of players signed.
A new team of people working as director of football is in order.
That way at least the club can start working based on a philosophy or some form of methodology on the footballing side.
Such a thing would also help to hire the correct manager too.

Hmmmm Rio thinks it's a player revolt.
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/footbal ... ho-Man-Utd

Earlier Rio Ferdinand had claimed he thought Pogba was being a spokesperson for the team when speaking out about United’s tactics and that he wasn’t the only one unhappy under Jose Mourinho.

Ferdinand said on BT Sport: “I think he’s doing it as a spokesperson for his team. I don’t think it is just him.

“I don’t think things like this should get out.

“The things that we saw during the week on the cameras at the training ground, I don’t think that should happen. The manager knows the cameras are there.

“I don’t think Paul Pogba is on his own if he’s voicing these type of things.

It rather the same thing that happened when Rooney led a players revolt and paid Van Gaal a visit to complain about tactics.

Don’t you think manager rigidity & arrogance is a bigger problem? Any manager that restricts players from expressing themselves just to get result will always have problems eventually. When your attackers & midfielders are playing with freedom your defenders will also rise to the occasion. Unleash our players.

THIS!

Fans always want to talk about player power Like the players should be robots just going along to any and everything the manager says and does regardless of how the manager treats them, talks to them and lays out tactics.

See this guy! Why are you laughing at how far United have fallen? Sometimes a small team like United needs a manager like Big Sam to come in and stabilize things.

Next game will end athe same way today, the sight if Mourinho at the dugout must surely irritate the players, he has lost the dressing room and lost out on the pitch, what will the board do next? Let him stay and do more damage? What will Woodward response be? Until mourimnho leaves, we will continue losing games, maybe they playing out for when united will have no chance of reachig the top 4 before sacking him, we might be in the relegation zone by then

If David DeGea says he wants to leave in January, believe Mourinho will be sacked the same day

Gary is starting to bite, but he doesn't want to bite directly, Ferguson and his friends made the biggest mistake by hiring Moyes against all common wisdom.

And as much as Woodward now takes the blame for signings, but there is still a board at United that i am not sure who it consists of and how it works when it comes to these decisions about signings
