LMC: Fresh confusion surrounds Chairmanship appointment

A new wave of controversy is about to engulf Nigeria football following a pronouncement by Amaju Pinnick on the Chairmanship position of the League Management Committee.
The Nigeria Football Federation president is quoted to have said On a television programme on Tuesday, that Nduka Irabor, who was recently reported replaced by Shehu Dikko, remains the Chairman of the LMC.
Ascribed
A recent release ascribed to, but not acknowledged by the Nigeria Football Federation had announced that a new Chairman has been appointed to lead the League Managers.
While the story named the NFF as appointing the Chairman, futaa.com confirmed that the appointment was made from within the LMC, which works like every corporate body that is registered to function as a company.
Advisory
Now, futaa.com can confirm that the appointment did not come from the NFF, as the president passing has passed contrary information.
It should however be noted, that the NFF is only an advisory and not a totalitarian-supervisory body of the LMC that was set up to primarily run the league.
