Theophilus Abega: Work ethic, leadership and vision. A true doctor.
Albert Roger Milla: Made me proud to be an African. Without him, Africa would only have 3 slots at the World Cup. I am still mad that he was robbed in 1982!

Samuel Eto'o....who also happens to be the greatest African striker of all time.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. #1) François Omam-Biyik: Simply put; reliable, dependable and class on the green grass. Quiet, calm and no fanfare approach.
PS. Special mention: Roger (mystic, legend). Samuel Eto'o Fils (The greatest [Euro career wise] and likely most controversial [in lions jersey])

Theophile Abega, Emile Mbouh Mbouh, Cyril Makanaky, Ernest Ebongue, Roger Milla, Omam Biyik. Man Cameroon had some serious players back in the day. It's hard to pick a fave but I'll go with Samuel Eto'o from the new school. GREAT player ad though he vacillates and bows to money these days, the guy did a lot for black awareness in the European game. His stubbornness is legendary. Add that personality to his skillset and he's a player to tip the hat to.
*ALL this without even mentioning those LEGENDs the Lions used to field in goal. Those guys were spirits masquerading as men. Absolute beasts. Nkono, Bell etc

There have been so many good Cameroon players over the years and the Indomitable Lions were once the pride of Africa. It's a pity that they seem to have lost the plot in recent times.
