Family and early life[edit]
He is the adopted son of former England international Ian Wright and the brother of fellow professional football player Bradley Wright-Phillips. He grew up in Brockley, South London, and attended the state school Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College in New Cross Gate. Shaun has 4 children with previous partners.
