The Nigeria Football Federation cannot afford to give the Egypt contingent for the 2017 Afcon qualifier any less than a friendly and warm reception if they must avoid a reprisal in the reverse fixture in Alexandria. This was the assertion of a former Technical Committee chairman, NFF, Taiwo Ogunjobi as the March 25th date for the Afcon qualifier between Nigeria and Egypt nears.

Ogunjobi maintains that devising means to; psychologically, destabilize the Pharaohs will backfire eventually in the reverse fixture. He advised the FA to ensure the Super Eagles prepare well enough to win the stakes in the first leg on the pitch and avoid jeopardizing Nigeria’s qualification for the competition proper with off the field antics.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics
