This is getting a bit too regular,and the problem is that there just is no way you can pick some heart problems until they actually happen.There is also the problem that some of this athletes use steroids which increase the risk of heart problems.

An autopsy will most likely reveal Idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis. The number one cause of sudden death in young athletes. The same problem that led to the death of Vivien Foe.

Some lucky players may have this diagnosed early and will be forced into the difficult decision of giving up the sport they love or risking their life. Unfortunately, most are diagnosed at autopsy.
