Leaking the appointment now indicates a lack of class from Mourinho and his agent Mendes. No surprises there.

you still have not congratulated United on the FA Cup win.

i dey watch you small small
I already said i prefer ManU win the cup than watch that crap Palace steal it with their ugly football. Anyways congrats to the Red Devils!

I like Giggs, he will manage United long term eventually, and I know Jose could be a real knucklehead but he has scores to settle and you can't deny the fact that he is a winner who has coveted United job for a very long time. Mourinho will surely achieve at United - he will address the basic problems hindering this bunch from going all the way. Good development in my opinion even if the romance lasts for just 2 or 3 years but I think United is getting a matured Mourinho with an advantage of a good time out before getting back in the groove. I hope they confirm this asap! Exciting times ahead! :D
I hear you but I fear Giggs will leave only to appear at Middlesborough or something, then his career will be over shortly and he'd be assistant at Wales national team. He came to the touchline today and took control of the game. You could see how LVG came down to give him a hug after Jesse scored, it was like a "You did it!" moment.

Chief Oloye will be the least of your problems, trust me! Once Jose settles at Utd walking the talk, he will tie the scarf and wear his JOMOSA badge with pride.

Short term good decision by Man Utd, Jose will get Man Utd back into CL and PL title contention immediately.

Long term will be interesting to see if Mourinho has finally been humbled to extext he will not be tossed out of another club or does his Samson complex remain steadfast?

No basis to sack LVG and hire Mourinho as replacement. Mourinho performed worse than LVG for crying out loud!

Jose has tried not to get Wenger sacked. That should make you happy.

I don't think Alex and Bobby where part of this, I did read somewhere that Bobby doesn't like Mourinho at all and thinks his behaviour is inappropriate for a club like Utd.

I think these people are at loggerheads, the Glazers/Woodward are taking a financial decision they need a winner like Mourinho who seems like he can guarantee trophies right here right now.
I suspect that could be why the whole thing seems murky and some confusion as in LVG seems like he is not aware of his fate.

Seriously there should be boundaries within which ambition should drive a man, i dont know what is going on here, but everything sounds and looks immoral. From Jose who it appears has allowed ambition to becloud his sense of decency, to Mendes who worships money and of course the Manchester united management who are treating a seasoned coach without respect with all the murky stuff going on in the background.

My brother, morality and football in the same sentence? This is a club owned by vulture capitalists and run for them by an investment banker. Their only interest is how much they can make. Once there was no CL football and all the money involved, Van Gaal was a goner.

Borinho and them are a marriage of convenience. He will bring them attention and high maintenance drama and possibly CL qualification. They will pay him megabucks and spend top dollar on Mendes’ players (making money for Mendes and Borinho). If there is success on the pitch, everybody is happy. If there isn’t, expect the drama of Borinho’s patented scorched earth policy.

The other people happy about this are the media. My Chelski supporting boss predicted that Borinho will take Manure to mid table next season.

The British media is in full flow, the same kinds of articles that where being written about Mourinho are now being written about LVG - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.indepe ... hms-tef-gb#

Plus this Mendez fella is no good, that's why Man Utd is always overpaying for average players
