Ijapa, I believe you're right with your tortoise Gazette News. It's been a hard struggle to sell tickets

with over 80,000 fans queuing and all
:tic: :sneaky:
Tottenham Hotspur say next week's clash with Monaco will be played in front of the highest attendance for a Champions League game in England, with more than 80,000 tickets sold.

The north London club are using Wembley Stadium for their second Champions League campaign as their White Hart Lane ground has a reduced capacity owing to work on an adjacent new stadium.

"The response from our fans has been fantastic and is testament to just how big this football club is," Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy told the Premier League club's website on Friday.

"This is going to be the best attended Champions League home game in Britain ever - what a way for us to mark our return to the competition."

London rivals Arsenal also used Wembley for Champions League home matches in 1998 and 1999, attracting crowds of around 70,000.

You know it is a bad week for Arsenal fans when they believe rumours that can be easily disproved.

Tottenham

Spurs fans are pretty happy - they came top overall for fan satisfaction. Defence is seen as the greatest strength, the goalkeeper and entire back four all having approval in excess of 93%.

If there is a concern it is in attack, the three most attacking positions all having a decent, if unspectacular rating of 80% - this compares badly with the likes of the two Manchester clubs.

Early view at Stoke - We are definitely missing Dembele.

Who is going to be benched with the return of Dembele or MoPo is going to bench Dembele in the next match? The competition in the midfield is mind blowing. Wanyama, Dier, Dembele and Sisseko.

Wanyama will be benched. I suspect Son will be benched as well. His link up play is POOR!! Also I would be surprised if we finished in top 6. We are not performing at that level.

I won't be too quick to write off our top 4 chances. If we are still in the mix of things by the 10th week then I will give them a shot at it. So far we are off to a decent start and it will only get better as the season goes on. I just like the fact that we have depth in the midfield.
