Come Tuesday I believe we will see a similar lineup to the match against Stoke except for Son who will be benched for Lamela. As you said PaJimoh, Dembele may most likely not start. My lineup will be:

Lloris

Walker * Toby * Vertonghen * Davis / Rose

Lamela * Wanyama * Dier* Dele

Eriksen

Kane

Dembele will play on Wednesday. Wanyama is not technically good enough to bench Dembele.

Is not about who is technically good, is what the manager feel is best not what we internet coaches want.
Wanyama is your coach boy,so expect him to play many games :tic: :tic: Also rotation is key in a long season 4 competition, that is what Wenger is also doing for us.Look players that play against soton 3-4 will not start for us come tomorrow.
By the way congrats for beaten Stoke City 4-0 at Stoke. When is the North London Derby?

Dier signs - 5 year deal.
Ericsson already signed. I think Lloris, Kane, Wimmer already signed. Son, Vincent, Victor, Sissoko and N'Koudou are fairly recent contracts

who else signed and who is left? Levy securing the team

Carry this Arsenal reasoning out of here. Dembele will play over Wanyama. Any Spurs fan will want that. Wanyama lacks the Dembele factor.

Rose getting an improved contract as well. What is the situation with Dembele? Lamela's recent comment about wages a bit concerning.

All this concerns about wages and they are not playing well. If I catch that Danish cookie Miss World contestant, I might break Thor's hammer on his Viking head.

SMH why hard on the boys after just one CL game?I did not see you whine after they went to Stoke City spark your season with a 4 -0 victory.

Stay out of this. If you were a Spurs fan you would know Danny boy has been playing really poorly this season.

Harry Winks signs new 5 year contract. I'm not sure if he can break into the team but it means he's marketable and Spurs will get something for him if a club comes calling

Carroll signs until 2019. Another one secured to be sold later. Train them and sell them. No more Sol Campbell

I am curious to see who gets benched for Dembele tomorrow. I'm thinking most likely it is Dier. I won't be surprised if we see a midfield of Lamela, Ericksen, Dembele Dele and Sisseko. That means Dier and Wanyama will have to ride the bench.

Those will be the attacking section of the team with Kane leading.

Our Dele pens a new contract until 2022

Tottenham's England international midfielder Dele Alli has signed a new deal to remain at the club until 2022.

Alli, 20, signed a five-and-a-half-year contract when he joined from MK Dons for an initial £5m in February 2015.

He made his first appearance for Spurs on the opening day of last season, scored 10 goals in 46 matches and signed an improved contract in January.

Alli made his England debut in October 2015, and scored on his full debut against France the following month.

"I can't think of anywhere better with the fans, the manager and the young team we've got here - it's a great place to be," he said.

Eric Dier, a team-mate for club and country, signed a new five-year deal last week.

Seems he will be out anywhere between 6 to 10 weeks. This is the best chance for Janssen to stake his claim.

Marcus-Edwards set to make his senior debut tomorrow. This is one player I am so looking forward to seeing regularly playing for Spurs.

That's really rough for Kane, looked like he was just rounding into form. By the way, why was he sucking his thumb on the stretcher and even before that?

^Kane was nowhere near form and needed a rest. Spurs refused to let him rest but the body said enough was enough.
