Liverpool 1-2 Wolves: Championship side secure shock FA Cup win at Anfield

Liverpool's miserable start to 2017 continued as they were beaten 2-1 at home in the fourth round of the FA Cup by Wolves on Saturday.

Having been eliminated from the EFL Cup at the semi-final stage by Southampton on Wednesday, Liverpool crashed out of another competition after making nine changes to their starting line-up.

"There are four amazing teams fighting for the last two Champions League places," the Catalan boss said.

"It will be a big, big battle until the last game.

"Hopefully United can focus on the Europa League and forget a little bit about the Premier League and then next season we can have five English teams in the Champions League, which would be amazing," he added.

"There is not another competition in the world with six strong teams fighting for one position - not in Spain nor Germany," Guardiola added.

"It is so clear that here, every season will be tougher and tougher to qualify for the Champions League.

Liverpool fans would remind you Brendan Rodgers had arguably the best No 9 in Europe (Suarez), a healthier Sturridge, & Gerrard...

Liverpool fans would tell you Klopp made 2 finals and bossed all top 6 sides in the same period...

As a ManU fan, you should be very afraid...
