After the Chelsea debacle, he needed time for proper reflection. the same mistakes are getting repeated starting with inadequate pre season to buying players for non football reasons. 75% of players came from one agent! Again not about quality, this is a extremely talented Man Utd team, a team full of players that have produced on the biggest stages but....there is zero cohesion, zero chemistry, zero leadership , zero confidence, zero unity.
When you have a narcissist manager who was run out of Chelsea in such an disgraceful fashion yet again tossing players under the bus after every poor result it's almost impossible for team with such high ceiling to produce results.

Players are fine, this is a very good, very deep squad. Wow! Very well said! Jose hasn't been the same since his Real Madrid episode and appears to have been scarred by that experience. No more swagger, huge self-belief and supreme tactical conviction. He hasn't evolved the way he needed to and in these crazy transfer market days, it's a lot cheaper and easier to replace the manager rather than the players.
The players know this and if you don't get them onside you could become history very quickly!
