Then they said to one another, “We are truly guilty concerning our brother, for we saw the anguish of his soul when he pleaded with us, and we would not hear; therefore this distress has come upon us.” Genesis 42:21
“A doubtful friend is worse than a certain enemy. Let a man be one thing or the other, and we then know how to meet him” (Aesop, 620–564 BC).

Sad..
Jesus didn't die so we could have religion. He died so we could have a deep, intimate, personal relationship with God.
Re: VICTORY MARCH FOR AFRICAN CHAMPIONS
What a shame that the team has to go through this rubbish.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Pinnick is in London, left the minister to present the case to the president.nemi2002 wrote:Pinnick wants to fund his CAF campaign with $1m.... what a shame...
The number agenda for Pinnick is WC qualification. That would help him win reelection, anything else is by the way.....

So why did we contest in this competition, if it is inconsequential?fabio wrote:Pinnick is in London, left the minister to present the case to the president.nemi2002 wrote:Pinnick wants to fund his CAF campaign with $1m.... what a shame...

Re: VICTORY MARCH FOR AFRICAN CHAMPIONS
If this was an organised nation this will be a disgrace but Nigeria never had any grace so it's normal and nothing's going to change!

Wow, no wonder African football is stagnant or being overtaken by Asians.
African FAs need to be independent from government funds, otherwise stuff like that will keep happening. Easier said than done.

Re: VICTORY MARCH FOR AFRICAN CHAMPIONS
Why do the NFF persist with contracts they can't afford to honour? They also seem to lack skilled negotiators. Why not let the players know what's up upfront instead of allowing them to do the job first. A good deal of communication will go a long way. But they'll also need to show what effort they've gone through to help the situation. The NFF need to be the ones initiating the conversations, the players might even be able to help. A scenario where they lodge in 5 star hotels and the players don't have enough kits and are in 3 star hotels won't fly though.. Lack of funds is a situation that can be managed.
