Iggy should go get the money. At 27 he can still come back to Europe if he wants.

He'll probably start scoring again once he goes to China!

Are they still going to be good in their profession? By that, I mean will they be faced with enough challenges to remain top notch players?

They most likely feel they can't keep it up at the level they're playing at!Odas wrote:Are they still going to be good in their profession? By that, I mean will they be faced with enough challenges to remain top notch players?

Is it me or are all the Africans who go to China getting horrific injuries.
Gervinho and Demba Ba both got terrible injuries and will be out for a long time.
China hasn't been a good place for the few Africans who have gone there.

These Chinese contracts...there's something iffy about them that I can place a finger on.
Didier when to China; despite the money, he did not last long. Infact, he took a paycut to play in Montreal.
Similarly, Aigbeni bailed after a year, despite the money, to play for Reading.
A few others, like Anelka....so are they paying these folks for real?

Nigeria will not feature any player playing in the Chinese league. If Mikel decides to go to China it means he has already decided to end his international career. I think he is leaving at the right time since we have multiple capable replacements.
BTW, at 29 and having won every title he could possibly win, I am in full support of him going for the money. He has nothing to prove to anyone anymore so why not get paid for his service?
The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not be in want.
