"In form", Complete Sports Nigeria, Not "On form"

As the full frontal assault on the English Language continues in AfricanFootball and Complete Sports Nigeria, I noticed in the latter today another howler.
"Victor Moses Back On Form After Challenging Three Years" proclaims a banner headline in Complete Sports. Listen, Complete Sports reporters and editors, a person may be high on drugs or alcohol, but you can only be "in form", NEVER "on form". That is decisively illiterate.
