Once upon a time, Cameroon really wanted to qualify for Copa Mundial. They had it all wrapped up. Their last match was against Egypt and they had to win in Yaoundé. With Eto'o playing , they knew they could pull it off. But they added extra insurance and bribed the ref (Biya ordered that it had to be done or else..). The score was tied until the 89th minute. Then as if from a cue, the ref called a dubious penalty. After Webo missed the penalty (he was nervous), the ref prolonged the game, hoping Cameroon still had something in the tank. The last time a ref had added more minutes to the game like this, Naija was playing Argentina at the Olympics... of course we all know how Cameroon's match ended ..
