I thought only talent was required to win games? :dream:

dey dia dey smile...
Chief, this guy drummed into our heads that the lions couldnt win anymore becuase they got no talent. But winning a game is not talent alone. Talent contributes just like 50% to a win.
Read my many posts on the subject lol.

It works in Africa, it doesn't work elsewhere. That's why Egypt can win 3 AFCON in a row, and not have any backbone at the international level. AFCON can be gamed. You do not need to be a complete side or near a complete side to win AFCON.

There are few teams in African history that had genuine ability, Nigeria's 94 Eagles being one of them, but even they an imbalanced side.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Let's not undermine the fact that Cameroon are the champions of Africa...whether they deserved the title or not is down to opinion, the fact that we beat them today however proved that Nigeria no dey respect titles whenever we decide to get down to business .

Commentator said Cam scored 7 goals in the AFCON

3 of those 7 goals came from Defenders! They were always going to struggle to score.

Compared to Nigeria's 2013 AFCON win, 11 goals scored, and 10 goals from forwards.

I say we soak up the pressure in Yaounde, and hit them on the counter.

Nigeria has already scored 9 goals in this campaign, 7 goals from Forwards.
