THIS AGENT NEEDS TO STOP REPRESENTING NIGERIAN PLAYERS

Post by JACKAL »

Someone needs to deport this Agent from Nigeria and the likes of him.. these are the people destroying African players and turning them into Journeymen in Europe not letting them fulfil their true potential.

Our kids have it right becuase they are smarter, better players, and more informed than their predecessors. No more Belgium, Slovenia, Belarus, ukraine for them. They are the champions of the world and they are demanding respect for their achievements. They need to find agents who understand their aspirations and is better connected.

Agent Blast Players Of Nigeria Title Winning U-17 Team of 2015 – They All Want Big Money Move Like Osimhen & Nwakali

Highly respected Dutch agent Erik Patrick has slammed the attitude of most players of the World Youth Championship 2015 winning team of Nigeria, labelling their taste of clubs as outrageous.

So far only six players from the team have secured moves abroad, while their captain Kelechi Nwakali and forward Orji Okonkwo are the only ones playing professional football in the Netherlands and Italy.

Okonkwo has made the biggest leap so far among the lot as he has played in the Serie A for Bologna, even though Nwakali fine form for Dutch side MVV Maastricht has earned him plaudits, they are in the second division in Holland.

Injury and fitness issues have delayed star forward Victor Osimhen from making his debut for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, and according to Patrick their teammates all want to move to top clubs like the aforementioned trio.

” Recently I tried taking one of the boys to Slovenia but the numbers the club were quoting as transfer fee is unbelievable. They all want to move to Arsenal, Wolfsburg or Bologna like Osimhen, Orji and Nwakali. It’s crazy”, Patrick told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” I won’t mention names but most of them are driven by money even their family members view them like gold mines. I am seriously afraid most of them won’t progress unless to accept to start small and grow big”.

Not all of them would start big.. They should take which ever development offer available and progress with it.. But if they have to go to Eastern Europe for small contracts, they should only sign short term contracts, 1-2-3 years max contracts, with reasonable buy out/release/transfer fees clauses inserted.. Its normally typical of Easter European countries to offer 5 years contracts to top talents and make good fortune on the transfers..

You are a clown!

I have never seen any player from one of those third or fourth tier leagues progress to a major league like Premier even league one. They always disappear into oblivion.

Maybe because they are not good enough to make it to the Premier League that's why they have to start at these leagues. Anyways, we have had players like Moses Simon, Madu, and recently Kalu kid go from Slovenia to a more mainstream league in Belgium. And if you are good enough in Belgium you can get to the EPL and Ndidi is an example of that. They just haven't yet been good enough, which speaks to their overall talent and why they probably HAVE TO start in a much lower league to sort of prove themselves.

If they want they can sit at home and wait for Barcelona to come calling, they have to start somewhere as long as it is not somewhere redicolous like Albania or a second division club in the Middle East, they just need to look at which clubs and leagues can do more for the development of their careers.
Family members who only watch the Premiere League and Barcelona won't help!
