Why do you think it's money? Should they just give up their son like a piece of tyre or chair? That is their son.

Regardless of what happens, family is family and we should not cease from trying to reconcile with family. People are looking at the money aspect but forget the family aspect.

Dele can still know his family without any monetary relationship. You just don't write off your parent like that, sorry.
My man quit talking nonsense, it is b/c of M O N E Y. Full stop.

Thanks for being the voice of common sense. A lot of the story doesn't fit the abandonment mold they are parroting in the media. The whole abandonment story was to cover up or legitimize the act of signing contract's as the boys parent. He had some issues in his mom's house and went to live in his best friend's house. His best friend who was on the same team as him. If Kenny was still living in the UK there would be no doubt he would have been in his father's house.

Football was the only reason for staying in the UK at the time. If he went to stay at a relatives there was the issue of his academy and getting him there. He couldn't drive at that age so they would have to pull him out of the academy where he was excelling and frankly there were worse things than football such as him moving with a bad crowd. If that was what grounded him then his parents were for it.

Even after staying at the Hickfords he came to the US some summers.
