Hope Rises For Enugu Rangers As CAF Could Disqualify Zamalek

Nigeria CAF Champions League flag bearer Enugu Rangers who were beaten 1-4 by Egyptian side Zamalek have been given a lifeline by the Confederation of Africa Football ahead of their return leg tie in Nigeria this weekend.
CAF has opened investigation into Zamalek over the use of a player, who appears to be ineligible to take part in the tournament but played and scored against Enugu Rangers last weekend.
Reports coming out of Egypt has it that Hossam Paulo who scored the second goal for the Whites in their 4-1 win over Rangers is alleged to have been wrongly registered by the Egyptian side.
If Paulo is found to be ineligible, Zamalek will be disqualified from the tournament , which will see Enugu Rangers progressed to the group stage of the CAF Champions League as they need not worry about overturning the 1-4 deficit suffered in Egypt.
In 2013, Enugu Rangers suffered disqualification from the same tournament for similar reason, when they played an ineligible player in goalkepper Emmanuel Daniel against CSS Sfaxien of Tunisia in the preliminary rounds of the tournament.

Or could it be a pay back for Egypt's ECA's harassment of CAF? Big speculation.

Rangers will go through regardless. A 3 - Nil score line is very achievable

I read that the petition was not even a strong one. It is likely to fail.

Rangers are disappointing.
That league championship increasingly seems like a false dawn.
From defence to midfield to attack, the team currently appears jaded.

I read that the petition was not even a strong one. It is likely to fail.
Is there such thing as a strong or weak murder; the player is either registered or not registered period and penalty is pretty clear

It's undeniable that "being in the zone" is key to pursuit of any endeavor; there's no question that Rangers had great focus going into the stretch to finally restle Nigerian league and the ensuing jubilee had knocked them out of focus. It isn't that the team is lacking in capacity to beat Zamalek. One thing is obvious- they have put themselves in this arkward corner. However I would be reluctant to question their resolve yet

False dawn vs jaded is the ultimate contradiction. If the team is in reality jaded then their league victory wasn't a false dawn. Stop trying to sound clever

Rangers appear jaded presently...I've seen a couple of their games this season; the drop in performance is stark...
And it is unexpected given the and brief interlude between the end of the league & this current season.
That's the reason I'm wondering if the title win was a false dawn....
What's with the rebuke? I'm a bonafide Rangers fan.
I thought Rangers had the goods to do well again this season (even if they don't retain the league title or do well in Africa); now I'm not so sure..

They should just concentrate on their relegation battle and not turn to Sootin.
Ranjazz is a classic example why some people should not taste success... just like Leicester
