Thats Monaco for you. Their inexperience gets them all the time.

monaco's best defend is missing (kamel glik). Best attacker statistically is missing (falcao) yet someone will soon come and tell you all how one other team that wears red collapsed when one defender went off.

City was always going to punch back. The question now is whether monaco can catch them on the counter...Bernardo Silva has to play those 'first passes' out of midfield faster. No need to hog the ball now.

To be expected. You know what it takes to put a team under the cosh for 90 minutes? That's rare. It's not everyone who can do what Barca did to United in that historic ucl finale.

City will regret it if they dont take one of these chances.

Shades of Die Lifurpuldhofen Gegenpress. Le press du gegen. Energy may well have been squandered in the first half. Did Monaco set up for a quick knockout, win the fight in the first half and hog the ropes till fulltime? @Tx, City going all Bournemouth on them...can the Frenchies hold out?

French teams proving why they are generally seen as pu**sies, they just simply lack the guts for glory...PSG comes to mind, I hooe Monaco don't lose the plot for their own sake.

OH boy top that breakdance! We all know that when Kolcieny was on the pitch it was only 1-0. If Kolcieny played for MOnaco and left the pitch now, City would score 5. :curse:
