Ignorance or honest mistake?
Roberto Martinez was on Football Focus this morning talking about Thierry Henry his assistant coach with Belgium. He said Henry was part of the generation of players that won France's 1st major trophy with the WC in 1998. I was like, what about the Euros in 1984? Platini, Tigana and all that?

Maybe he did not consider European trophy a major trophy in 1984 just as nobody considers Ghana's 1954, and 1959 ANC trophy a trophy.cic old boy wrote:Roberto Martinez was on Football Focus this morning talking about Thierry Henry his assistant coach with Belgium. He made a mistake simple....

.... I believe in God. I try to be a good man so He can have a bit of time to give me a hand when I need it - Jose Mourinho

Re: Ignorance or honest mistake?
This kinda of honest mistake may be the reason why a talent glutted Belgium will have to salvage a 1-1 draw at home to Greece under Martinez. Belgium better look for another coach.
TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED...
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding...hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe
