[WCQ] Bolivia 2 Argentina 0 FT
Bolivia just missed an easy tap-in that would have made it 3-0.

Argentina are dire. This is the worst I have seen them play in a long time ...

Bolivia at home in high altitude. Argentina without Messi.
No surprises here.

Apparently they're already tapping up Sampaoli.

Sampaoli is a top coach, but will he take the bait?

Game over. Bolivia win 2-0
Re: [WCQ] Bolivia 2 Argentina 0 FT
Chances are Uruguay wins their game in Montevideo vs Argentina.
That leaves Argentina with 22 pts, Uruguay with 26/29 pts (and a superior GD), Chile with a likely 28 pts, Colombia with likely 27 pts and just three games to go. Argentina will then be unlikely to catch any of those teams - they would need to catch up 5 pts minimum in the final three games, but Uruguay plays Venezuela (A) and Bolivia (H), Colombia has Paraguay (H) and Chile has Ecuador (H).
That means Argentina will highly likely battle it out for 5th spot with Peru and Ecuador. Ecuador vs Argentina on the final matchday will be the decider and Messi will be back from suspension. Argentina should take it, but who knows with Argentina on this kind of form?

Like Brandin Cooks, it's just a matter of time. He's going to do a Monchi.

With or without Messi Argentina have been crap anyway, struggled to beat Chile and were even outplayed for the most part...they need to stoop low to conquer by borrowing a leaf or two from their arch rivals Brazil.
