Wilfred Ndidi's game by numbers vs. Atletico:

100% take-ons
6 clearances
4 aerial duels won
3 tackles won
3 interceptions
Ndidi is officially a machine. That boy is a future SE captain, no doubt in my mind.

They should have a stat for straight up bullying people off the ball and making them turn and run. He has 4 of those. In Ibadan we call that Ogboju.

Did u guys even watch the game? Ndidi was not the best offensive player on display but he was clearly one of the best defensive players on display. One of the reasons Leicester's defense was so effective is because Ndidi protected the back line so well that they had enough time to help out on the flanks where most of the attack was coming from. Replace Ndidi and the game would've been a blowout for ATM.

AT shaded the game by a country mile but the Foxes have kept themselves in the tie. They will fancy themselves at home in the return leg.. If they win, I hope Ndidi manages to avoid picking up a 2nd yellow.. On the whole he had a good game, ATM are no push overs.

Just like they beat them with fake penalty in Spain. Upon all the huffs and puffs, they only had two shot targets that the keeper saved. While some hacked Marez, or whatever his name is, and ref refused to point blow.

But Leicester will not play the same way at home. They will come out a bit more than they did in Madrid.

I usually track his stats on the FourFourTwo SZ app and they are impressive,ATM had to play the ball as far as possible from Ndidi and if not for the penalty.........

Athletico won through a made-up penalty and a stonewall penalty not given to Leicester. Very unfair result for them, but still hope them all the best.

A lot of people agree with me and those are non-Super Eagle fan. What is more appauling is you have a guy verging on world class and you can't even appreciate how good he is.
