Mpappe to play for Cameroon

Post by bamenda boy »

Not. His father is Cameroonian. It would have been nice to see him against the SEs.

wow! This thread is still here?

About 10 years ago or so, I opened a thread joking that Thierry Henry went to Calabar, and the mods came down with a vengeance. Not only was the thread deleted immediately, I was suspended for 2 weeks for that innocent, harmless joke. At the time, I thought it was because it was a joke about an Arsenal player and the Arsenal mods were viciously after me, at the time. Perhaps, it is just a case that moderation was more strict in those days than it is now. But honestly, whom am I kidding, it was an Arsenal led coup against me.

Anyway, the mods have not yet figured out how to ban goats.... plus Presido Cellular and his Murderators are more lenient than IAG and his team were :sneaky: :sneaky: :sneaky:

You remember that thread??? :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

My brother, I literally think about that thread at least once a year since that day and burst out laughing. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: The whole thing still confuses me. To be fair, moderation was much more strict and vicious in those days with people falling into "whywasideleted" mode quicker than children jump on an Agbari Ojukwu after the women have removed the jollof rice.

That was literally the most innocent thread. I simply took an article from the BBC that said something like "Thierry Henry just came back from injury" and I replaced "injury" with "Calabar." And come and see the venom! :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: The pretext una use that time was that I "doctored" an article, which made it "posting false whatever on CE"...bla bla bla... :rotf:
