Game set up for City to dice Arsenal on the counter. They can if they're smart

Oxlade has been dynamic. Why doesn't he play like this more often?

Mister Dolly wrote:Yeah but we can't beat City sitting back unless we are playing for PK's. Our counter attacking game is non existent
platinum wrote:Ramsey, Cech and Monreal were rubbish in that sequence.
Mister Dolly, you see why i said they should sit back as they did in first half?
True but it's better to sit and wait for mistakes than make mistakes of your own. Ramsey and Xhaka are slow in transition, setting them higher is asking that they abandon the defensive shield they played and not really gaining anything in attack anyway so take the bird you have in hand and hope that with tiredness, the opponent makes errors. Fergie, Mourinho, Foeman...they all use that to beat Arsene time after time. You have to be patient.

Monreal don score oh!
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Did you see the goal, had nothing to do with marking; had everything to do with bone head dribbling from Ramsey.bepanda wrote:Arsenal was doing well prior to the goal. I guess the boys got too excited for forgot to mark.

Do you see the role he is playing today? Ditto Monreal. Cmon, you ought to know the sport better.

Coach wrote:@MC, Oxlade and My Son Monreal need to dare to dine, push up a touch and whip the ball in for the Big Man. City have enjoyed possession but without landing any clean shots or working openings. Level at the half mark, expect Beloved to move into the middle of the ring and let the hands go. More pressure on Fernandinho or Uncle to get a freekick 30 yards from. Ramsey and Xhaka need to come alive, a good full blooded challenge would do the both a world of good.
City looking all out of puff. Now for Matt Skelton to lean in with all the body weight.

I want this game to go to extra time so that both teams can have dead legs in their next game.
