I'm a fan of all Nigerian players...Cristao II wrote:I am confused. Is txj a City fan or Liverpool fan? That said, txj - do explain why Victor Moses couldnt make it at Liverpool?
The sense within LFC was that his mind wasn't in it...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

I KPOM this statement. Sure, Kele has some work to do and it was obvious from his first preseason with the club, the fact is that the coach's subjective views are always crucial.Cellular wrote:A player that doesn't a fit a particular coach's style of play is no big deal.
It happens all the time.
To even say that he didn't take his chances when presented to him is beyond laughable. His goal/minute average was one of the best in recent memory.
I hope Kelechi has a good agent... he needs a coach that believes in his abilities.
Pep should not be allowed to destroy the poor boy's confidence.
Unlike Yaya, Kele does not have the pedigree to overcome Pep's enormous ego. The same ego that made him send Joe Hart away for a none ball catching goalie... yeah, the wisdom of Pep...
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

MAN. CITY, Iheanacho's agent: "Guardiola unfair to him". 2 Bundesliga suitors
06.05.2017 00.06 by Claudio Colla
Interviewed by completesportsnigeria.com, Olumide Olowu, agent of Nigerian international striker Kelechi Iheanacho (20), stirred up a quarrel against Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola: "Iheanacho needs to leave Manchester City and he will find a better place to continue his younger career. Guardiola seems to have his own players that he wants to play, and you can't expect a young player with huge potentials to be wasting away on the bench. It's unfair to Kelechi". Currently on a deal with Premier League giants until June 2021, the player is an item of interest for both Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim.

We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

That does not make it JJ.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT
