Ten Strikers Invited To Super Eagles Camp In Corsica | See List
By Emmanuel Ayodeji - May 3, 201749
Reports around suggests that about ten forward are to be invited to the Super Eagles training camp in Corsica later this month.
Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho headlines the list of the strikers to be invited. Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi is also included in the roaster.
Nevertheless, Gernot Ruhr has bowed to the pressure from NFF and fans concerning the inclusion of home-based players in the Super Eagles squad as there are three domestic strikers are included in the list.
Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) hitmen Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun as well as Akwa United star Al-hassan Ibrahim made the list of the players to report to Paris.
Victor Moses has been omitted from the squad because of his Chelsea’s fixture against Arsenal in the final of the FA Cup scheduled to hold on the 27th of May.The Eagles should have departed for Paris before this date so Moses can’t make the trip but should make it to Uyo for the second half of the preparations toward the Super Eagles’s first competitive game of the year.
Alex Iwobi may not make the trip as well due to the same should the management at Arsenal object. The 20-year-old has not featured for for the Gunners in recent weeks but he has been a regular on the bench. If Arsenal includes him in the squad to face Chelsea, then the Super Eagles will to excuse him as the international duty is outside FIFA International break window.

Is that the same Al-hassan Ibrahim from Manu Garba's U-17 and U-20 teams?

Where is Onyekuru ?
How about the likes of Anichebe, Ideye ?
Why must homebased players who are not good enough be forced upon us ?
Just a waste when we could be looking at other players.

If not for Jesus, where will i be?
Re: Players Speculated for SE CAMP
How is recuperating, not kicked a ball all season, Victor Osimhen expected to make the list?? Rohr has already said Odey needs to get a run out in the CHAN before he gets a look in. Alex and Simon are wingers and the local lad are unlikely to get any action. The list looks quite speculative.
Re: Players Speculated for SE CAMP
I read somewhere that Onyekuru was invited. It will be tantamount to an aberration if benchwarmers in the likes of Kelechi ,Musa and players from Nigeria league are invited but our most prolific scorer currently in Europe is omitted.. That should be a very good reason for Rohr to be relieved of this job with immediate effect. Steve Ikechi's malfeasances that decimated the national can not be tolerated this time around.

TBH, these speculative reporting takes place all over the world and there is huge interest in it whether you are in Lagos, London, or New York. This is similar to the usual transfer rumors in the London Mirror or the draft rumors in ESPN.
