Wow Cheick Tiote too :(

We need to get to the bottom of this, young seemingly healthy players dying is worrisome

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Stephen Keshi die from some form of cardiac arrest as well? Or is this just a list of active players?

Data is useful. Going by this list, Nigeria appears to be most affected. What is NFF doing to reverse this very troubling trend? What steps are being used to curtail or arrest these very troubling episodes? Knowing the goons running our great country, their inner thoughts will be: "who cares?"

...when you get paid big bucks to play football, there is that added stress to continue even when you know you can't go any further or else you lose your spot.

I was running in mini-marathon many years ago, by the half way point I was done, but my teammates keep pushing for me to continue, I gave it a little more push, then gave up. I can feel it, it's not worth it. No one is paying me to do that run, except for pride.
I did long distance running in secondary school or what we call cross country runs. I am good at a mile or 2 mile run back in the days.

Not "Nigeria appears", rather it is and that is worrisome. Why so many Nigerians?

What about amateurs like ourselves, are we at risk?
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

You are yearning opaks!

Dehydration usually leads to imbalances of electrolytes (like Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, e.t.c), critical for proper heart function.

For example, low Magnesium can easily lead to a dangerous heart rhythm called Torsades de Pointes where defibrillation might not even help, but a Magnesium shot would.
