Rumor mill is quiet today.
"Our enemies are the political profiteers, the swindlers, the men in high and low places that seek bribes and demand 10 percent; those that seek to keep the country divided permanently so that they can remain in office as ministers or VIPs at least, the tribalists, the nepotists, those that make the country look big for nothing before international circles, those that have corrupted our society and put the Nigerian political calendar back by their words and deeds." - Kaduna Nzeogwu

My two cents....

Some Gooners refuse to grasp concept of best attainable players..it's not Lacazette or Lewandowski, nor Mahrez or Ronaldo.

Reality it's Lacazette, Mahrez or Lemar or nothing..Thankfully Arsenal no longer chasing the unattainable & passing it off as "We tried our best" summer.

Can't believe L'Arse will sell to a PL rival again....What are they smoking at the Emirates? When will they learn?
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Nobody is smoking anything. Your hero Wenger calls the shots. Show him the money and he will sell you his best player, and even tell you that you have no idea how good the said player really is.

Na Arsenal.com dey waste time.

I think they will announce Lacazette tomorrow. My guess. So far, there is no word of any issues (e.g. medical or personal terms) with the deal. The rumours are it is all done. But you never know with these things. Until it is announced, you always know there is that 1% chance of things going wrong.

Rumours are, Mahrez is now committed to Arsenal, he has made his choice. It is his club that are asking Arsenal to meet the highest bidder. The player has refused to join the higher bidders than us (Everton reputed to be one of the higher bidders than Arsenal) and has made his Arsenal preference known to these clubs. But it is not done if the player chooses another club, of course clubs put in a higher bid to make life harder for their competitors and with the hope the player changes his mind if an agreement cannot be reached with your competitor and the selling club. This problem is standard.

Aulas, tried to run an auction with Lacazette but the player, who has in the past two summers listened to the club's President and stayed was not pleased. We tried to signed him last summer but the player will not push for a move choosing to respect his boyhood club's wishes. But this time around, he was set on a move and Arsenal interest in the past 3 seasons, helped make up his mind. He asked the club's promises to him be met and he joins the club of his choice so far as the fee was reasonably close to the highest bidder. We know, other clubs offered more than us, but the difference in the end was not much or enough to stop the deal.

Lemar is now very complicated. For starters, he is wanted by all of Europe's top clubs. You name the club, they have an interest.

Rumours are, there is a bid of £75m Euros from an English club. This trumps our offer considerably. Wenger has been following the player since he was a kid and knows him very well. Indeed, he turned down Wenger when he left Caen to join Monaco saying he will get first team football at Monaco and he wanted to play in the 1st team immediately. Now rumours are his preference is Arsenal, but at what cost? I think the Lemar decision hinges on Sanchez. For me, we cannot get Mahrez and Lemar if we are keeping Sanchez. The money for the sale of Sanchez will get us Lemar. That's my opinion.
