Nothing to see here. Just another lazy & petulant performance by CFC and led by a coach who is too stubborn for his own good.
First - shame on Pedro.. What a disgraceful cheat. Next - In the bid to persist with the stupid 3 at the back, Conte makes an offensive player on a YC to take up major defensive duties. That is just dumb. Could have switched to 4-2-4 and give the team more in offense.

Morata is another twat that needs some talking to. Finishing - zero. Stand your ground - Zero. Man the F up!!!

Kudos to Norwich for a well played game. If they had started the game on the front foot, would probably have won in full time.. Also a strong game by the ref. Got all decisions right but I don't fully agree with the YC to Willian & Morata. When there is contact but not enough to call a PK, that should not be a YC IMO.

Conte & the team needs to get its act together..
Lampard: 101 goals and counting.......

Chelsea target Andy Carroll has told West Ham he is unable to train - but his club are questioning that after taking scans of the 29-year-old striker's ankle. (Daily Mirror)

:D :D
Carroll claims he has an ankle injury, but scans taken by the Hammers are understood not to show a problem.
WH should get him a permanent room at the hospital.

Looks like Andy kicked a paper clip on his way to training and is now out 4 to 6 weeks. :)

I hope that ends the Chelsea chase.

Crouch will soon be 37. I bet someone is laughing his/her head off.

Meanwhile, Bayern snapped up Goretzka without useless media fanfare.

Chelsea fans wished they still have Emenalo now.

Has the club ever shown interest in Marko Anautavic?

Kenedy is about to go out on loan again. The guy is good enough to play for Chelsea. If not as an LWB, he can cut it in Midfield. He has the ball skills.

Why can't that club give budding talent some chance and boost their confidence?

There are so many games to go round. He can get playtime at Chelsea if rotation is done right.
No point losing talents while working the vets to the ground.

Arsenal has regained home advantage against Chelsea. Their stadium used to be home away from home for us.

Conte MUST redeem himself. :taunt:

This Dzeko link is against our policy of purchasing players over 30. Any thoughts?

We should have kept faith with Batsman and keep him.
But I see the Dzeko purchase as a push on Morata. Too much money for a 31 yr old backup striker unless Conte decides to field 2 strikers most of the times.

Rules need to be administered with flexibility and reasonableness to accommodate exceptional situations such as right now (top 4 on the line and only one serviceable striker, Morata, is available). As long as it’s not a habit (signing over 30s) the club’s operational risk is mitigated.
