Kelechi Iheanacho to Tottenham

Quote:
Although it was expected that Nigerian international Iheanacho would complete a £25m transfer to Leicester, The Sun claim Tottenham want to get in on the deal, with Kyle Walker moving to Manchester City in the process. Spurs need a striker and a transfer that would see the wantaway full-back move to the Etihad with Iheanacho, plus cash, heading in the opposite direction would suit all parties. Mauricio Pochettino is keen to pick up someone to cover for Harry Kane off the bench and with 21 goals in 64 appearances for City, Iheanacho could be the ideal signing.

Shaka is a big fan, I was watching a video yesterday where he was raving over Kelechi.

"I'm not sure about this one. If Pochettino decides to play one up front then it's going to be Harry Kane. Iheanacho doesn't feature there. If you look at Kane's back-up Janssen, Iheanacho is an upgrade on that without any kind of question.

"But I feel Iheanacho needs to start games. He's talented enough. I don't see him starting 90 percent of Spurs' games."

The Nigerian managed four goals in 20 Premier League games last season, though only five were from the start.

The fact that it would be Walker for Nacho + cash as opposed to Walker + cash for Nacho is the real atrocity here.

Walker as good as he may or may not be is after all a FULLBACK while Nacho is a striker/attacker with a more forceful impact on the team.

Walker going to City for 50mili +, no player included. Guess that means Liecster transfer is on. Best scenario, in my view.
