It pre-season, players are trying to get their fitness, not much game planning involved. How can you judge Ozil based on a pre-season game?

^Herein lies the problem, one cannot fist pump and gyrate the waist when Bayern are beaten then claim Friendly when soundly beaten by Premier league rivals. Truth need prevail. Every fixture is no more than a friendly, the results are a festival of irrelevance. The stage offers no more than a chance at experimentation and opportunity to further fitness. Beyond that, it could be argued, a striker finding form preseason may carry that confidence into the season. The antithesis being Project Sanogo, adept in the Emirates Cup and absolutely faeculent thereafter.
