The identity of the new goalkeeper coach of the Super Eagles appointed by head coach Gernot Rohr has been made known to Owngoalnigeria.com editorial staff.

Rohr appointed him to help ease the goalkeepers crisis currently rocking the team as it appears current trainer Alloy Agu has no answers to the questions of who will be in the stick for Nigeria when qualification for the World Cup 2018 resumes.

The name of the new coach is Enrico Pionetti, an Italian who worked with Rohr when he was coach of French Ligue 1 side Nice and also in Burkina Faso.

The coach was pictured with the coach upon arrival in Nigeria yesterday, and they will both head to Kano later in the week to check on the CHAN Eagles team who are in camp ahead of their own qualifiers.
