Awoniyi loaned out to Mouscron
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40789589
Nigeria youth international Taiwo Awoniyi has been sent for a third loan spell by his English club Liverpool.
This time the 19-year-old, who is yet to make a first-team appearance for Liverpool, has joined Belgian club Mouscron for the season.
The striker joined Liverpool on a long-term deal in August 2015 from Imperial Academy in Nigeria.
He joins DR Congo's Jonathan Bolingi and Cameroon's Fabrice Olinga on loan at the club.
Awoniyi, who helped his country win the Under-17 World Cup in 2013, spent last season on loan at Dutch side NEC Nijmegen.
He also played at the 2015 Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand, netting twice and then helped Nigeria win the 2015 African Under-23 Championship in Senegal.
However he missed out on playing at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
His other loan spell was at German second-tier club FSV Frankfurt in the 2015/16 campaign

Therein lies the question:kolinzo wrote:These guys need to forget all did journey man waka for Europe. They should come to the MLS where they can be happy playing the guy the right way.
Is it more progressive for the young player playing journey-man at 'small' European clubs, or at the 'big clubs' at the MLS?
Europe wins everytime...

This is a bigger step up to his last gig in the second division. If he gets the job done at Mouscron then he can be attractive to other clubs if not Liverf0015

Re: Awoniyi loaned out to Mouscron
He is a brilliant boy perhaps he should forget soccer and pursue other careers like in medicine or engineering. He definitely lives good life with either of above profession.

Awoniyi will be fine, this is a step up from his loan last season, if he doesn't make it at Liverpool he'll land somewhere else. He is young and just needs to focus on his game...

Re: Awoniyi loaned out to Mouscron
I have a feeling that this boy might turn out to be a lot better than we ever thought based on how he seems to be progressing. He is a raw Diego Costa without the anger issues.
If we qualify for the wc Rohr will have a ruff time picking strikers.

There are 2 naija players (Taiwo Awoniyi & Oghenekaro Etebo) that I believe will make a huge impact in the future barring any injuries.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:I have a feeling that this boy might turn out to be a lot better than we ever thought based on how he seems to be progressing. Good move for him. Young players need games.
Winners do it the right way.

Re: Awoniyi loaned out to Mouscron
He's still a professional footballer not every player makes it into the top 20 of European football clubs (after all only a few can play at a time in each position at any level) and even then one can make a decent living outside the top few clubs!bully12 wrote:He is a brilliant boy perhaps he should forget soccer and pursue other careers like in medicine or engineering. It just depends if he loves the game enough!

Bushboy in 5, 4 ,3, 2...
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Oga I visited la louvier when Osaze, was playing you have too much time on your hands. At the age of 17 away from your family too much distraction. Watford encourage them with education. The club hardly pay attention to them away from themairwolex wrote:Haba...UK, Holland and Belgium, getting to live your dreams or at least work hard for it, what exactly is there to feel sorry for them for?Prince wrote:It is really horrible for this guys i really hope he makes, Loaned out at age 17, not studying or acquiring any other skills, if they dont make it the clubs leave them and they are left with nothing, He should be doing his coaching badge as well.

What?! What is Liverpool thinking? Are they not aware of this lad's movement? It is a thing of beauty. He should have stayed to fight for a shirt. He is EPL quality surely!
If Isaac Success can be in the EPL, surely Taiwo can too.
Barely 21 and already played in 4 countries? This is racism! If only he was Brazillian.
