1-4.vs Everton 1995
0-2 vs Newcastle 1999
1-2 vs Arsenal 2001
0-2 vs Portsmouth 2010
1-5 vs Chelsea 2012

MoPo has yet to play a Final as a manager, at least none that I can think of.

Good win.
Should have scored more goals. Son's goal should have counted.
Looking forward to the Moura-Eriksen-Lamela combination next season. Alli needs to step up asap.
Chelsea away next - have not won at SB since February 1990 (nearly 28 years now) we need to win to prove that we are serious.

THFC 4 LIFE.

Another cursed statistic.

0-1 vs Arsenal 1993 - I went to this game at Wembley; dominated the match but Sheringham, Barmby and Anderton wasted chances.
1-4.vs Everton 1995 - A guy called Daniel Amokachi destroyed the useless Spurs defence in which that resulted Klinsmann to leave us.
0-2 vs Newcastle 1999 - Shearer ran around the Spurs defence like a possessed demon.
1-2 vs Arsenal 2001 - We did nothing after Doherty scored and when Campbell got injured, we lost the plot in that game.
0-2 vs Portsmouth 2010 - Naive and arrogant performance from the team.
1-5 vs Chelsea 2012 - King was so so unfit to play in this game.
2-4 vs Chelsea 2017 - Playing Son as a LWB was the kiss of death in this game and the way we conceded the 4th goal...SMH

No matter if we play against United, Chelsea, Brighton, Leicester, Southampton or Wigan, we should be capable of beating these teams on our best day.

Some info on Toby - He's turned down our final offer of 130K/week, so I'm afraid he's off in the summer.

It certainly appears to be the case increasingly. MoPo too has put his foot down and said Toby is no longer a part of his first team as he can't bench anyone for him. Let us all appreciate him for what he has done for the shirt. A loyal servant who wore his heart on his sleeve. He will forever be a YID . Just hope he won't ruin his legacy by signing for another PL club in the summer.

Off we go into another season defining match. A match that either solidifies our hold on to 4th or puts the race back into contention. A match that tell the lads they have come of age or they are still perennial contenders. A match for the history books. The last time Spurs left Stamford bridge with all 3 points was back in February 1990, a time when they had no Russian looking to waste money. Today that Russian is no longer enthusiastic about dumping his money into the pit he created as he is increasingly getting bored with the team. The team itself is a Jekyll and Hyde club, good one minute utter garbage the next. Which team shows up tomorrow? You just can never tell but being a London derby and especially against Spurs, their tails will up for it. Expect fireworks.

On the injury front the only notable absentee is Kane... but is he? MoPo is strongly indicating Kane may be fit to start but that could be mind games. Alderweireld played 90 minutes in Belgium's last match and his manager has called MoPo to tell him the good news and counselled on his behalf to let Toby have more games in order to get his match fitness back. Danny Rose is slowly working his way back to match fitness and aside those 3 there are no other injury concerns to the first team that is of note.

Selection should not be a worry at this point as it is very likely MoPo will stick with his winning team but then this MoPo, I reiterate, we are talking about here. He likes to pull a surprise or 2. He may opt to start Lucas to give his team more offensive power rather than sit back and try to contain Chelsea. I would have liked to play a 3 man back in this match but as Toby is out of favor it is likely we will go with a 4-2-3-1 formation:

      • Son
  • Lamela * Eriksen * Lucas
    • Dembele * Dier

Davis * Jan * Sanchez * Trippier
      • Lloris

If indeed Kane is back to full fitness then it will be Lucas who will be benched as Son will return to the LW. Dele may find it hard to start over Lamela as Lamela is showing more bite and purpose, giving the team a bit more than Dele does. Who will prevail at the end of 90 minutes? All I can say is COYS! COYS!! COYS!!!
