As the Bundesliga begin, i notice a trend....

Post by Yiba »

Gone are the days when African players make the cut through the rigorous trials. It is becoming rare for African players to play in the Bundesliga.

If anybody point to Auba, as an example of an African player in the Bundesliga, he learned the trade from French academy.

Talking about French academies, it is the latest destination of Bundesliga teams to recruit players.

It is assumed that they know the knitty gritty of the game both on and off the field.

I wish we have the Abedis, Okochas, Olisehs or Kalas in the Bundesliga.

I know Osimhen is hyped on this site, but i am not convinced yet about his potential in Wolfsburg. There are so many stars both young and old who have been signed by Wolfsburg. Can he survive despite strong opposition ?

I would be happy to see the experiment with Osimhen flourish because it would herald the return of African players in the Bundesliga.

Everyone hypes him, and rightly so. When you score 10 goals at a world cup, you deserve hype. I can only imagine if he was Brazillian.
Bushboy's bushmen : 1.Isaac Success 2. Terem Moffi 3. Victor Boniface 4. Samuel Omorodion. 5. Samson Tijani. 6. Rafiu Durosinmi.
Who will be next?

We have had some African players who succeeded in the Bundesliga despite the disorganization back home.

It is not about signing a professional contract. I am talking about making an impact in your club.

Kalou-Was a star before he came to Bundesliga

Traore-The Guinean learned his trade from French academy. He is good.

Naby Keita-The most successful of his generation to make it in the Bundesliga. A product of French acadmy

Rahman-Came directly from Ghana to Fürth. He grabbed his chance at Augsburg. Unfortunately, injury has robbed him of limelight.

Yatarbare-Did not make the cut after signing. Bremen does not need him anymore. I remember that Bremen decided for Yatarbare instead of Onazi.Because he was cheaper.

Sane-Successful in Hannover but always plagued with injury.

Diagne-Learned his trade from French academy but could not hold a position in Bremen.
