If he continues I doubt he loses his shirt, He was so impressive in both hames..I did tab him after the SA game. But he has improved a great deal..well done..He tracks back a lot....

Well taken goal; absent in the 2nd half.

I have always said that Simon is a decent player, was always a better version of Musa.

Having said that, when we have a full compliment of players and the likes of Success, Bonaventure, ONyekuru and Dessers are integrated I dont think Simon is a starter.

People were getting far too emotional after the SA game.
Simon Moses bore the brunt of most of it but I really didn't see how bad he was supposed to have been.

He was doing a lot more defensive work in the second half

Simon is not good enough for now, he can get better tho, he scored a goal and disappeared. Funny thing is he was missing before the goal too. Simon can be a sub when the game is won. Rohr needs to give others a chance, we have better players than Musa and Simon

When Sarenren-Bazee is fully fit, Simon Moses will return to the bench. Bazee is a faster version of Victor Moses. Highly talented kid and I am glad he has committed to Nigeria.

If thats the case...I doubt any better opportunity to win the WC if they qualify. The defense is really something thats looking good...considering that the 2013 players (ANC Winners) are still around.

Typical Nigerian.
We never learn.
A guy who had NOT played a single match for us is already deemed as being better than one of our veteran. I dont understand it. Why not wait and let's see how the guy perform in green-white-green first?
You think the transition from playing club football to international football is easy?
How many players had been superb in their club but only to be rubbish at international level?

Glad that Simon took his chance well and scored our lone goal...
But truth be told, he did little else all night (actually rate him better in the Uyo game).

In fairness to him, our attack fizzled out in the second half and he spent more time defending than attacking, like most of the other players. At some point, it seemed like Ighalo was the only one up front.
I actually thought he played well.

Just out of curiosity though, is Moses Simon an Igbo or Yoruba boy?

I believe Ajala is a Yoruba name, but Simon as a Yoruba last name is a little far-fetched. It's kinda fishy with these players changing their names (i.e. Michael to Mikel, etc).......

I agree...I think he is a makeshift player, rather than a potential staple of the CE.

Ighalo is the one that baffles me...he appears to have ALL of the tools to be a TOP striker. Not sure if commitment and working hard on his game is what is holding him back...
