Gabriel should finish that.

Gabriel should have scored there with his first touch of the game...

FT....
Well done lads. Our two holding midfielders (Aremu and Ifeanyi) were immense, the central defense pair of Eze and Adeleye were solid and Adeleye (complete with bandaged head) did not let anything get past him all night. Moses Peter did well again on the flanks, and Ali (for an old veteran) kept things nicely ticking in the middle. However, upfront there seems to be a relative dip in quality, and we have to sharper, more effeicient and productive in attack if we are to go far in the tournament.

Given the relatively bumpy state of the pitch...
Some passages of our passing once we went ahead were sublime.

Build up to the second goal was just superb.

Does anyone know if Ghana rested any of their starters since they had already qualified for the next round before this game?
Re: Ghana vs Nigeria WAFU Cup *Links*
Is Ezenwa really better than Ajiboye? Those who have watched both of them can you comment? From the highlights I've seen Ajiboye seems to have sharper reflexes than Ezenwa, but I haven't seen enough of Ajiboye to conclude he's better than Ezenwa.
