looks to be an interesting match, Argentina having a good attacking spell with some good movements but no real threat thrown at the Peru goal yet, I reckon this is a must win game for Argentina.

PS: Arg look vulnerable on the counter, and I have a strong feeling Peru might nick one in and lock up shop

C'mon Peru.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Peru need to learn about putting the ball into danger areas. I don't like their wingers.

Columbia is the one that messed up today losing to Paraguay. If Argentina win their next match then one of Peru or Columbia is out as they play each other.

Chile can't afford to lose to Brazil either..... South American WCQ is definitely the best in the World! Those 18 games aren't easy for any team!

Argentina in 6th. 25 pts, + 1 goal diff. Peru also 25 points. Chile in 3rd with 26 pts. Colombia blew it today. Plays Peru next and likely and loser not going anywhere unless Argentina lose to Ecuador and Paraguay loses
