Best feeling about the world cup for me...
is the fact that Nigeria will parade a team with more than half of the players making their world cup debut...only Mikel has experienced about 2 previous world cups(correct me if I'm wrong) in these team, with Russia been his third in the making...while the likes of Musa, Moses, and perhaps Uwa Echejile will be experiencing their second world cup. Then the rest barring any invitation of veteran players like Enyeama will be newbies in Russia! indeed the likes of Iwobi, Ihenacho, Aina, Onyekuru, Simon Moses,Victor Moses, Shehu, Agu, Sanrenren, Ebuehi, Isaac(if he gets his head together), Kayode, Bonadventure, Nwakali will all form the nucleus of relatively young and green players in Russia...the future is indeed Bright

This is Obi Mikel's second World Cup, as he was injured for 2010. I'm pretty sure that if Mikel was playing we would have qualified from the 2010 group.

From 2014 we have six players in contention to play in Russia:

Victor Moses
John Obi Mikel

Overall if you look at our 2010 and 2014 squad, the quality and depth of the 2017 qualifying team is just so much better.
