Germany have scored a record 43 goals in qualifying for this WC. Hm, it seems nets will shake a lot in Russia. Portugal, Argentina, England, Brazil and Australia have each received at least 4 from Germany in the last two WCs.

Their back four is a bit shaky. If they don't fix it, they might be in for a rude surprise in Russia. A football Stalingrad that is.

Germany are good at fixing their problems,in 2001 they lost 5-1 to England only to reach the Final of the World Cup the following year!

They qualified with a perfect record of 10 wins from 10 games. Some context is required though. They had San Marino, Azerbaijan, and Northern Ireland in their group. San Marino have won 1 of their last 137 games. San Marino have scored 1 away goal in 15 years.
I would actually say that Nigeria's WC group was tougher than Germany's!
The standard of UEFA below the Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and Belgium elite level can be utter bobbins. Malta, the Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Luxembourg, and San Marino usually concede cricket scores every game.
It is actually quite easy to qualify for the WC from UEFA due to the number of whipping teams.
