SOME MIGHT THINK THERE'S TIME, BUT...

Post by Bell »

...we know who we're dealing with so with nine months to go before hostilities begin, the NFF may need to start planning player bonuses now:

1) What the players will be paid
2) When they'll be paid, and
3) How they'll be paid

The world class embarrassment of Brazil 2014 when stuffed bags of dough were packed into a plane for the players must never be repeated. Other countries give bonuses too but you wouldn't know about it because the whole op is transparent, smooth and based on well-tested processes while Nigeria prefers the ad hoc and uncertain stone-age approach.

While we are it, the NFF and Nike should get together and come up with worthy jerseys - the right shade of green (I prefer the darker a la Michigan State), names on the jerseys, the right sizes so they don't look one size too small.

What about lining up Friendlies for the Eagles? As many as possible. Preparation should be taken seriously. We are not going there to just come back after quarter finals. We are going there to win the World Cup. This should be drummed into the players' head.

THE NFF HEARS YOU LOUD & CLEAR, BUT...

...don't be surprised if they return with a steady diet of Jamaica and Malta, with the occasional upgrade to Mexico.
