after world cup qualification...

Chelsea starlet Tammy Abraham has admitted that Nigeria and England are battling for his services, and has not entirely ruled out playing for the three-time African champions after they secured their place at next summer's World Cup.

Only last month, the England U21 star was quick to pledge allegiance to England over the Super Eagles after the Nigeria Football Federation publicly admitted they were on the brink of securing the services of the striker.

But there is a new development, with Abraham admitting that he's 'not too sure what is going on', and reading between the lines he has not shut the door on Nigeria.

''There are a lot of things going on. For me that is a sign you are doing something right if Nigeria are fighting for you and England want you as well,'' Abraham was quoted as saying by http://www.mirror.co.uk

''I’m happy right now and just want to keep playing my football.

''Nothing has happened. I’m not too sure what is going on.''

Born in South London, Tammy Abraham has racked up more than 30 appearances for England's youth teams, but has yet to debut for the Three Lions.

PS: expect more "emergency Nigerians" of foreign born descent as a football analyst on channel sports tv aptly described them to soon come out of the woodwork to declare they are either fully ready to represent Nigeria or indirectly leave their options on the table.

The pinnick leak unsettled Tammy and to avoid being labelled a traitor by the establishment, he had to quickly pledge alligience to England and distance himself. England have qualified for the WC and his chances of making the England squad, even as a wild card are pretty next to nothing.

Watching the likes of iwobi, Ola Aina and Victor Moses reserving their plane tickets to Russia will put him in a real dilemma. The thing is Rohr has other options to consider. Nigeria may not come knocking again.

Whoever tops, the goal scoring chart at the end of the season will likely make the trip. The boys in Belgium are all knocking..

The world cup is football's biggest stage.. Not all great players make it there. Tammy will be a fool to pass on it.
