How big is your gut these days?

I would actually take that group. We can for sure beat Russia and Costa Rica. Spain would be a tough task.

Spain, Germany, England and Belgium were the only European teams to qualify without losing any matches. Belgium and Spain drew one game each, England drew two, while Germany had a 100% win record.

Well Nigeria didn't lose a game either, at least so far. It is a shame that we are not seeded, a damn shame if you ask me...

Will the ranking not be based on the FIFA ranking before the draw?

Spain will not be seeded. They are only ranked 11 by Fifa.

Nigeria is ranked 44th on the world. We are among the lowest ranked teams in the tournament.

Russia, the host will be very difficult. You'll need a suicidal ref if you want legit calls to be made in favour of an African team

I would like the group you guys listed. Just saying that expectations should be cautiously optimistic.

We will only really have an uphill task if Spain us in our group as the second seed. Imagine getting Spain as the second seed and then Brazil or Germany as the first seed.

We will be 41 not 44th when the October Ranking is released in 3 days time.

We will be ahead of Japan, Panama, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, in the FIFA ranking.

Should Australia, Greece, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, Honduras, South Africa or New Zealand qualify, we will also be ahead of them.
