When is the anniversary of our famous Russian-Nigerian, Ola Isaleko (Oleg Salenko) who annihilated Cameroon with 4 goals?

If only Morocco had shown half as much belief against Brazil, they would have made the 2nd round that WC. Instead they laid down and collected a 3-0 spanking. African teams have to stop respecting Brazil too much.

That was the world cup that Cameroon , Morocco and Nigeria could have made it to Round of 16.Nigeria did but the other two should have beaten Austria and Norway to go through, Brazil losing to Norway knocked out Morocco and Cameroon having Austria tie the game in the last minute did them in

Tunisia, as always was there to make the numbers and South Africa were in a bit of a stage fright otherwise Saudi and Denmark were there to be plucked

Scorpio that Brazil team was loaded with talents. They should have won that WC. Morocco messed up by failing to beat an average Norway team. Had they done that, they would have qualified for rd 2.

Agree that they were loaded with talent, but they were susceptible to the counter, and their set-piece defending was horrible. In fact that average Noway team beat them 2-1. France should have beaten Brazil 8-0 in that final and that is no exaggeration. Dugarry and Guivarch alone combined to miss about 6 easy tap in goals for France in that final.

That was an excellent Morrocan team. Naybet was one of the best defenders in the world (playing for a team challenging for La Liga title). Hadji was the African footballer of the year (although we feel he stole it from JJ on the back of a spectacular overhead kick at the AFCON). Saber, Chippo, and Bassir were playing regularly for top European clubs.

The ref did those plantainians wrong in that game. The red card to Lauren was the funniest thing I had ever seen on WC football. Then the two denied goals scored by Cameroon. lol
