Led by Peter Rufai, Taribo West, Mutu Adepoju, Garba Lawal, etc.

Symbolically significant to see Festus Adegboye Onigbinde leading the ex-players to the monarch (given he is Modakeke high Chief and the the history with Ile-Ife).

According to Oni....."Peter Rufai from South South"?
Is that really true? I thought Rufai was from the royal
family in Lagos suburb? Wasn't it his dad a king in one of
those Lagos suburb areas? If I am not mistaken, there
was a major feature on his royal family in the Weekend Concord
sometimes in 1993.

You're correct, but a lot of Prracort people claim him (& he claims the area too) just like Kennedy Boboye.

He may have spent significant time growing up there.
